My first thought is who buys white sofas with a 5 year old?

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I really like it. (sans annoying palm frond in vase on the floor) The little girl can stay too. (says mother of sons who longed for a daughter) Maybe it's the green, or maybe I just have a bit of the spring fever and this is a tonic.

Beautiful when executed perfectly.. but I can see some future DIY versions going terribly terribly amiss..

Beautiful room, the green and white are so beautiful together, but they lost me at the ceiling. Overkill...

If someone described this room to me I would have thought it was a terrible idea but seeing a photo, I kind of love it. That being said, I don't think many homes could pull this look off, mine included.

is this the new "accent wall'?

Overall, it is a nice room but I can't get over that green paint on the ceiling. Now, the ceiling seemed chopped up, not good!

I actually like it too. Kind of refreshingly different. But, as someone else said, be warned, we are going to see some terrible "knock offs"

I like the idea, not so much the color, however....or those sofas.

I do so love the color palette and those crisp white sofas and drapes - oh and the light fixture too. Not such a fan of how the green is executed. It's like a green thong.

OMIGOD!! That is the funniest thing! I bet you could HEAR me laughing!

EXACTLY!!!!!

A green "thong!"

Such a bad idea.

Not 100% sold on the green molding, but otherwise I LIKE this! Like the color, like the way it draws my eye up and over, like the sofas (white slipcovers can be BLEACHED and they actually an stay very nice for a long time - I had them when my children were little). And the little girl is precious! Cracked me up about the potential DIY's!

I love it the way I love someone else wearing a mohawk. Great for looking at, but just not for me personally. My life would never support the continued existence of white sofas, rugs, and curtains.
