Life is too short to live ugly.
I would welcome a good use of space like that shelf but I would welcome the towel warmer even more.
Ashamed to say that none of my towels match, and are in various stages of disrepair...they are all white, however... I've got that going for me. The open shelving, while pretty in the pic, is my nightmare...Are those perfectly rolled up washcloths on top? That's a lot of washcloths...
I'm very confused about the combination of textures and neutrals here. I want to give the designer the benefit of the doubt and blame the bad lighting... but the more I look at this I wonder- WHho needs that many bath mats and towels at their immediate disposal, and what good is that storage otherwise??
Oh the long long summers of entertaining small children. I remember them well. Godspeed.
Whatever wall treatment is on the wall with the commode, it's hurting my head.
The lines of that trim (or floor?) are wrecking my brainparts. Also, if you have the money for custom marble-lined towel nooks it should be a criminal offense to end up with a bathroom design this effin' boring.
I really wanted to bash the tonal boredom, but I got such a thrill of excitement at seeing actual storage space in a bathroom that I had to go and lie down for a bit.
I think I'd like it even better if I couldn't see the towels. Lemme know any entertaining an 8 year old tips, I could use some these days.
