As a designer who lives in a beach town, I have to say that a little bit of the nautical theme goes a long way. Like maybe one or two items. The life preservers would work better in a pool cabana where they would be functional as intended.

Yes, total overkill. Raina, on an unrelated topic, I saw this browsing today. It's an old WASP homw with a second wife into "worldly artisan art". It's been in the family since it was built in the 20's. It's a fabulous old house that just makes me smile.

Don Richards - WOW. That is beyond lovely, even with all of the "artisan" stuff. I bet she wears a lot of Donna Karan and Eileen Fisher.
