I do for sure. And sadly, also mold allergies.

Oddly this is not very comforting considering I love a fireplace and there's plenty of wood...

I did a drive by my former home and stacked in the garage, which is attached to the house, was wood stock piled up 7 feet high. My first thought was now they will termites. It's bad enough the garage doors were wide open for mice and other creatures but I figured carpenter ants can't be too far away either. And to think how fussy I was about keeping the garage just so. Oh well, not my problem anymore.

Yes! From the first time I saw one of these! I've always assumed that whoever came up with this idea has never actually gathered wood or built fires.

Jelly might be pretty on the wall, too, but it doesn't mean it should be done!

Bugs and dust! And creatures..

I had a contractor suggest the bug possibility over me stacking wood like this one time, so BUGS is the very first thing that comes to my mind when I see a photo like this or the actual stacks in person. Great minds ...

In Maryland, you're not allowed to move woodpiles because of the green ash borer, so this would have to stay, regardless of how ghastly it is.

In my house this sort of thing would be earwig central. No thanks, goodbye, nightmares forever.
