Too fiddly and while I like the majors like the basin and bath the rest seems like a jumble and we are waiting for the builders to finish their mugs of tea and get back to work

Is this a statement on reading the newspaper in the loo... I'm guessing the designer was in favour of.

Well, that's one way to keep reading material handy in the loo.

wallpaper, tile, tub, sink, towel stand, mirror, waste basket...all good....get rid of the rest and put up a pair of unlacquered brass sconces on either side of the medicine cabinet....and you've got a good looking room...imho

As the daughter of a newspaper man, I am totally on board. Not sure what the red cross leaning board thingie is, but I love the rest of the room! I might replace the red cross thing with one of those typesetting boards that holds all the lead typeface...

This is odd and awful and the oddest awfulest part is the the trashcan. It's really just there to shame and humiliate anyone who flosses, sneezes, menstruates, chews gum, trims their nails or cleans their ears.

Newspaper for wall coverings was popular in the 70's. A friend of mine tried it and WHAT A MESS! Application is difficult and the results are tragic.
